Review Week Comments and Feedback

 Review Week Comments and Feedback

Today I started to look back on the previous feedback and comments I've received in order to take this information into consideration moving forward with my work.

Taking the last comment left on my blog from Anna:

"Hi Enoh! I'm loving the look of your game already it looks way better than mine I'm actually mind blown. Will you be adding any trees or anything to make the are you going to make it a little curved? I wouldn't change anything anyway I can't wait to play when you get it finished. Have you figured out the movements for the character or was that already implemented with the asset? - Anna Zurawska."

Regarding her question about the movements, some of the movements have come premade with the character model which was very handy. The only movements that I need to add now are the bumping into objects and falling over.

This asset can be found in this Unity link and is free to download.

Another comment I would like to take a look at is this one posted by Edward

"Hi Enoh, I hope you're doing well. I just read your idea there and I think it would be a pretty fun game to play. I like how you found the inspiration in other games and created a new idea from them. I like how it sticks to the traditional 3d runner games but with your own style and of course different elements like a boss battle. I'm wondering if you thought about any music that would work well? I'm guessing it would be vaporwave as well. I think it would be cool to add some different power ups while fighting the bosses that help you defeat them. Good luck with your game and I hope it turns out how you want it to!"

Edward poses a good idea about power ups to defeat bosses. I thought this was a very cool idea as I was just going to have to reach the end of the game by the end of the game. However, I've decided to add a collecting currency element to the game in the form of shards.

You can find these assets in this link.

These will count as points towards your end score which will give you a completion ranking of F-S. F being the lowest and S being the highest, this may change depending on my time and could also end up being from C-A at the minimum.

Overall the comments from everyone have been overwhelmingly positive with constructive criticism and helpful ideas to improve my games idea.

Hopefully, I am leaving good criticism back as I try to which you guys can let me know if I've critiqued your work, was it helpful? Do you feel I could improve the way I'm commenting?

Overall the commenting and feedback experience has been very useful within the class and I personally feel like my game wouldn't be nearly as fleshed out if I hadn't gotten any feedback from others with an outside perspective.
