An Introduction to myself
An Introduction to myself
A bit about me:
Hi Everyone! My name is Enoh Flanagan-Brownson. I'm 19 years old and I'm attending the Creative Digital Media course in TU Dublin Blanchardstown. I like all types of art especially victorian era paintings and digital art.
An example of my favourite victorian artist is Vittorio Reggianini. As his work includes amazing details on silks and other fabrics.

My favourite Digital Artist is Simon Stålenhag. He makes art which is focused on the setting of a dystopian, cyberpunk, future. His art often features this concept of behemoth sized and jarring electronic structures against the familiar world. I don't know why I like it but I really do and recently a show has come out based on his works, a roleplaying game previous to this.

Hi Enoh! I really love your style and whenever we get stuck together for group projects then we're definitely recreating photographs like that, you better have your fancy victorian silk dress ready. I love the photography work by Simon, it has a war of the worlds type of vibe to it (the book) + stranger things if it had robots instead of monsters. Can't wait to start working with you for web design and I hope you have an amazing day :')
ReplyDeleteHi, Enoh!
ReplyDeleteI also like Victorian Era paintings they are so pretty (I also like Renaissance paintings) >.< it would be super nice to work with you again this year, maybe we will be able to apply some inspirations from these paintings on our projects *-*
Hope we can see each other on campus again this year (dramatical speech)!

Hi Enoh! I've never really looked in to art (I think far too much and I get frustrated not knowing what an artist meant), but I can appreciate the silk detail in those paintings. The colours are really nice too. Also, the Digital Art looks so cool, I'll definitely be looking in to more of that!
ReplyDeleteHey Enoh! I loved reading your introduction blog, it really gave me a good insight into your interests. I loved the victorian paintings you picked out, I too am a major art fan. My style is more Claude Monet but I really think all styles are beautiful. I hope you're settling in nicely and thanks for the read!
ReplyDeleteHi Enoh!! I love how different the two types of art are! It goes from one end of the spectrum to the other! I really like the digital art, it's really sick! I'm not a massive physical art (would you call it that?? no idea) lover, I think I'm scared from art history in Secondary school lol.. Hope you’re keeping well! I miss the laughs we’d have in class when we were actually in college!! -Megan
ReplyDeleteHi Enoh
ReplyDeleteI have to say those two art styles realy contrast each other from bright and colorful past to grey and gloomy future . I have never seen a lot of digital art but I have to know I want to know more about Simon also whats the name of this show so that I can give it a watch.
Hey Enoh! I'm absolutely fascinated by the work done by Vittorio Reggianini! The amount of work in those art pieces is amazing! I never took you to be interested in Victorian era paintings AND digital art. What a mix of art mediums but variety is always better! Miss you and your hugs hope to see you sometime in the new year! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Enoh, you really did choose the perfect course for you. It's really cool that you like different types of art works. I wonder if you do art as well and if so what time of art do you do? It's hard being in college, in second year and still don't know so many people in our course. I hope you're getting on well with college work, Denis.
ReplyDeleteHi Enoh!! It's really fascinating to see your contrasting interests in art. The artwork by Vittorio Reggianini is so beautiful!! Simon Stålenhag's work also looks really cool and kind of ominous and creepy which I like a lot. I'm glad to "see" you in 2nd year. I hope we can see each other in person again soon!! Wish you the best for the year, you got this <3
ReplyDeleteHey Enoh,
ReplyDeleteI love learning the different people that are into art in this course. I've vaguely been into art and I'm mediocre at it, but I myself am planning in getting into digital art! Long way to go but sure we all have to start somewhere :D I've never been into art past the 20th century to be honest but maybe I should. Maybe I can learn something xD If you're pursuing in doing digital art after this course, I wish you the best of luck!
Hey Enoh,
ReplyDeleteit's pretty cool, the interest in Victorian era painting, it's not something you hear much about anymore, but it's good that there are people like you keeping it alive.
i've never heard of Simon Stålenhag, but the examples of his work you've put in your post look amazing and are in great detail. You seem to have a broad range of taste which is pretty interesting.
Hi Enoh,
ReplyDeleteGreat introduction,
Its cool how you are artistic and are passionate about old style art. I remember doing art in school and learning all about different artists and their styles. Its amazing how artists can create such realistic paintings from scratch. It is very authentic and fascinating. I hope you are enjoying cdm and i wish you luck throughout the next semesters.
Keep it up!
